The Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros (CPPC) is pleased to announce Silvia Benedetti, an independent curator and art writer based in Caracas, Venezuela, as the recipient of its travel grant to attend CIMAM’s 58th Annual Conference, which will be held in Harare, Zimbabwe, 20–22 November 2026.

This year, the CPPC sponsored a travel grant to support the participation of an art professional from Venezuela. The 2026 edition of the CIMAM Travel Grant Program has awarded a total of 42 grants to modern and contemporary art museum directors, artistic directors, curators, and researchers from 26 countries.

Launched in 2005, the CIMAM Travel Grant Program promotes inclusivity and diversity within the international museum community by supporting professionals’ participation in the Annual Conference and creating opportunities for exchange, dialogue, and professional development.

CIMAM’s 58th Annual Conference will bring together museum professionals in Harare, Zimbabwe, from 20 to 22 November 2026, providing a space for shared reflection on the challenges and responsibilities facing museums today.
