The Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros (CPPC) is pleased to announce the three recipients of its travel grant to attend CIMAM’s 57th Annual Conference,
Enduring Game: Expanding New Models of Museum Making, which will be held in Turin, Italy, 28–30 November 2025.
The 2025 grantees are
Alfonsina Martínez, Curator at the Fundación Alberto Cruz in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic;
Ileana Ramírez, an independent curator and member of Tráfico Visual in Caracas, Venezuela; and
Torrivilla, a Venezuelan independent curator, writer, art historian, and Director of Strategy at Procu, currently based in Mexico City.
This year the CPPC sponsored three travel grants to support the attendance of art professionals from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and their diasporas. The 2025 edition of the CIMAM Travel Grant Program marks the 20th anniversary of the initiative and has awarded a total of 39 grants to professionals from 20 countries, supported by foundations, institutions, and patrons.
Organized by CIMAM, the Annual Conference is supported by Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT and Fondazione CRT and co-hosted by Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Fondazione Torino Musei, and Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea. With the guiding mantra “Of Necessity Virtue,” this year’s edition invites museum professionals to explore the evolving role of contemporary art institutions in an increasingly complex global context.
