Works of art always contain traces, be they marks, lines, letters, brushstrokes, or imprints of light. Traces, the vestiges that remain after two things come into contact, tell us that something has happened. In these works, traces are evidence of what was there before we were, inviting us to contemplate space and the presence of things. |
