Hunter College / The Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Professorship in Latin American Art
In 2011, Hunter College and Fundación Cisneros/Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros (FC/CPPC) entered into a major partnership to have a transformative impact on the teaching and development of Latin American art at Hunter and more broadly in the United States. The initiative established the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Professorship in Latin American Art at Hunter and provides Hunter students with access to the resources of the FC/CPPC. These range from curatorial scholarship to archival materials, to artworks from the collection that will be made available for study, exhibition, and publication. Harper Montgomery, was appointed the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Professor and began teaching in 2011.
