The Place of Images
Presentations by Erik del Búfalo, Marilé Di Filippo, and Gil Sansón, in addition to an article by Maria Virginia Jaua, cover the theme of understanding the use of images.
Historical Inventories, Body, and Activism
Activism and social protest throughout Latin America have marked significant moments in recent national histories. This theme is covered in presentations and text contributions by Miguel López, Elizabeth Marín Hernández, Sandra Pinardi, and Félix Suazo, among others.
Technologies, appropriation, and translation are all topics covered under this theme—that explores "new" forms of media—in presentations by Rosina Cazali, Leticia Obeid, Yucef Merhi, and Erly José Ruiz.
