Exhibitions

Since 1999 the Fundación Cisneros/Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros (FC/CPPC) has organized and co-organized international exhibitions featuring modern and contemporary Latin American art. Between 1999 and 2007, the CPPC organized an extensive exhibition tour, working with major museums in twelve Latin American countries to present eleven exhibitions that featured works of geometric abstraction, the Argentinian Madí and Arte Concreto-Invención groups, Venezuelan Kineticism, and Brazilian Concretism and Neoconcretism. Other exhibitions featured colonial Latin-American paintings, furniture, and religious objects. Most recently, the FC/CPPC has focused its efforts to support and promote the work of contemporary artists in Latin America.
